Nick Perry has always been interested in the visual aesthetics of electronics and machinery. His current work features unique jewelry made from recycled discarded circuit boards, detailed with Swarovski crystals. He also makes stop-motion animations using mechanical/electronic environments and robot puppets. Whether making jewelry or animations, the theme of giving new life and purpose to otherwise useless electronics permeates Nick's work; hence the term "mechanimation".
